Boxes, Boxes and More Boxes

I have begun to realize that you don’t really know how much stuff you have until you have to put it all in boxes. We are in the midst of packing up all of our belongings and getting ready for the big move.

One of the biggest blessings we’ve had in this process it that Community Covenant Rocklin is sending us a moving team and a truck to move all of our stuff. I cannot stress enough how much of a blessing this is. The truck is coming down in a couple weeks to pick up all our stuff and move it into our new place in Roseville (which is right next to Rocklin).

Something I was reflecting on earlier was the idea that moving is such a hassle. You have to clean everything, pack it into boxes, stack those boxes and live in a constant state of disarray. As stressful as moving is, however, it does not even begin to compare to the excitement we have about answering our calls to ministry.

No amount of stress or anxiety that has come up over the last few months has caused us to second guess this move. God has truly given us the peace that transcends our understanding (Phil. 4:7).

As we continue to pack our lives away in boxes, we can’t help but look forward to starting this new chapter of our lives in Rocklin.

PRAYER REQUESTS & PRAISES

1. Meaningful time with people we are saying goodbye too

2. Emotional and mental health as we prepare to move

3. Smooth transitions both out of Santa Barbara and into Rocklin

4. We are over halfway fundraised! We are so thankful to God for the generous support we have received. Please pray that the rest of our fundraising goes smoothly.
